I've spent some time behind the controls of the Komatsu PC45MR-5. It's a well-balanced, compact excavator that fits into tight spaces without losing power. The cab is spacious with straightforward controls, plus the air conditioning works exceptionally well. Servicing is simple due to the tilt-over cab design. However, I found the standard pre-cleaner requires regular monitoring in dusty environments. Overall, it meets high expectations for a machine of its class.

The excavator has proven to be stable and reliable. Even during long working days, the comfortable seat and control panel ensure comfortable work. An excellent piece of equipment that is worth its money for medium and large projects.

In four years, I only replaced the cylinder sealing ring and the air filter. I really like the smooth operation of the hydraulics and the ease of control. The engine is fuel-efficient. Overall, the engine's performance is stable and excellent. The machine is compact, maneuverable, and perfect for working in limited spaces.

I purchased a used Komatsu FD30 from 2017 with around 1500 operating hours. Overall, the machine meets my requirements, but there are some nuances. The engine runs steadily, but sometimes I notice a slight decrease in power when working intensively at full load. I had to replace the brake discs (208-32-11110) and wiring (421-06-H1300). In all other aspects, the loader's construction is sturdy, and the lifting capacity of 3 tons is sufficient for my needs. It's a decent option, but there are more modern models with improved features available.
